Experience Japan is a series of events designed to celebrate Japanese culture and the Japanese community in Ireland. Our events promote integration and cultural understanding between all communities.
Experience Japan is an entirely non-commercial, community organisation operated by volunteers. The EJ organising committee are representatives of the Japanese and Irish-Japanese communities in Ireland.

Working with the main committee, we have a number of subcommittees which lend their voices and help with planning our events each year.
Programme | Coordinates community groups from around Ireland to participate in our events and have a wonderful experience. |
Stage | Organises and schedules our stage events, including live performances and music. |
Health & Safety | Ensures our events are safe and pleasant for all our visitors and volunteers. |
Promotion | Communicates about our events across various channels, and helps others to understand our identity as an organisation. |
Finance | Manages the budget for our equipment, events, and running costs. |
Higher Education | Keeps us connected with universities and colleges, which are a valued source of volunteers and fresh energy! |
