Kiku Day is a shakuhachi player from Denmark who studied honkyoku, the repertoire of the shakuhachi playing komus monks of the Fuke sect of Zen Buddhism from the Edo period (1603–1867), with the master Okuda Atusya in Tokyo for 11 years. She is a founding member of the European Shakuhachi Society.
