Do you want to meet new people and share your enthusiasm for Japanese culture? Our on-the-day volunteers are the public face of the festival, and help everything run smoothly.

📸 Event Photography
Capturing memories of our events helps us to promote ourselves and grow. If you have a background with photography and can bring your own equipment, please apply to join our official photographer’s list.
📋 Event Management and Sub-Committees

🎭 Performing
🥁 Taiko Team
The Experience Japan Taiko Team performs each year at the Hanami Festival, and many other events around Ireland.
The team is instructed by masters of Japanese Taiko, who fly over from Japan to teach us!
💃 Dance Teams
The Main Stage hosts a number of performances from Dance Teams, who are usually affiliated with one of our partnered universities.
We welcome applications to join the fun as part of the Hanami Festival.
